Hey guys,
Sandra and Henry here! We are very glad that you have been reading our content and we hope that you have found it interesting and informative.
We want you guys to get to know us better, so please enjoy as we let you in on some facts about us.
I met Henry just after graduating high school at a part time summer job we both had. Henry was in college at the time.
Henry and I got married when I was 20 years old and he was 22.
Henry and I were not brought up in strong Christian households. Our families did not go to church often. We were Christian, but faith was secondary to secular living.
We are members of a church, but we don’t attend as much as we would like because we are often tied up with school and work. We do read the Bible regularly, however.
Henry is an only child and I have lots of sisters. Opposites attract, I guess 😉
My mom passed away when I was two years old.
Henry’s mom passed away his senior year of college. When she was sick, I told him we should go see her because I had a feeling it may be our last chance. That weekend, she passed away and we were in the room to spend those last moments with her.
Henry graduated high school ahead of time.
Even so, he struggled in college and ended up disliking what he was studying. It was hard and very time consuming, but he graduated.
I’m big into decorating but I’m studying something in medicine.
We made a lot of mistakes together, but God’s grace saved us. Remember, God will always take care of you if you believe in Him.
Henry and I want two children and we plan on home schooling them.
Henry has traveled a lot since he was young, and we plan to travel with our children a lot.
When the kids are old enough, we plan on going to Israel. We want to walk where Jesus walked and we want to get baptized in the Jordan River.
Henry and I don’t drink, other than very small amounts at select social events.
We plan on building a house in the country on a beautiful plot of land.
We love dogs! We want two big dogs when we have our land. Right now, we have a terrier mix named Maddy.
(This is Maddy ^)
Our favorite holiday is Easter because Jesus Christ rose and secured our lasting salvation on that day.
Our goal in life is to be happy and to die knowing we lived a meaningful, fulfilling life. We are grateful to God that we have this goal now, before we get old and have regrets.
